On June 23, 2008 - Shanghai RAAS, a RAAS China holding company, became a publicly traded company on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. RAAS USA and RAAS International are the exclusive world wide distributors for Shanghai RAAS.

Shanghai RAAS Blood Products Co., Ltd., started as a joint venture between US RAAS (Rare Antibody Antigen Supply) and Shanghai Blood Center, owned by Public Health of Shanghai which was established in 1988. In 2004 the investing company Creat Group acquired Shanghai Blood Center and became the new partner.

Shanghai Blood Center, Public Health of Shanghai, and was established in 1988. This first and only joint venture specializes in the manufacture of plasma derived medical products for therapeutic use in the areas of immunology, hematology and intensive care medicines. Its subsidiaries and partner companies produce vaccines and Recombinant DNA pharmaceuticals.

Shanghai RAAS is the market leader in the field of plasma derived medicinal products, setting unsurpassed quality standards in China, and has been among the top 500 industrial companies in Shanghai since 1996. It is the largest company not only in China but also in Asia, and operates the third largest manufacturing plant in the world.

Chinese State Drug Administration (SDA) licenses Shanghai RAAS products. It also follows USFDA and WHO guidelines, US Pharmacopoeia and European Pharmacopoeia in the selection, testing and the manufacture of plasma into final products.
