Research and Development is underway to make new products
available to meet the rapidly growing demand for plasma
derived products in China. Phase II expansion has been
completed for enlarging production capacity, and Phase
III expansion is underway with the addition of 10,000
square meters (110,000 ft2) to allow us to conduct research,
to develop and to produce recombinant DNA pharmaceuticals.
In close cooperation with our partner, Shanghai Blood
Center, the largest such facility in the world, and
with other prestigious medical universities throughout
China, we will continue to do research, and to develop
more new products to serve nearly 1.3 Billion Chinese
in particular, and people around the globe in general.
